Union Chapel School (under Union Chapel Educational Society) was founded in November, 1967 to help finance the free Clinic run by the Union Chapel. At that time there were just a handful of children. Mrs. Emerald Siromani was the first Principal of the school. The number has since increased and at present we have 800 plus children.
We welcome children from different walks of life. We have a cross-section of our society as far as religion and states are concerned. Our school represents a truly cosmopolitan society. We love and care for all of them and follow our Lord’s teaching.
“Let the little children to come unto me
and forbid them not, for of such is the
Kingdom of Heaven”.
(Mathew 19:13-15).
